Journal entry, copied to here 2-6-07
I just decided to set this up for our little one who is due in June. I wish I would have thought of it sooner, so I could have added things as they happened rather than trying to remember.
We found out we were going to have a baby on Jeff's dad's birthday. We were so excited!!! I called my mom first, and she was with her brothers and their wives, so she told them too! Then we called Grandpa to tell him for his birthday. He was very surprised!!
I was not able to set up doctor's appointments as early as I wanted to, but had the first one on Friday, January 26. I would have gone to see someone had I had any questions or problems, but everything went very smoothly up until my first doctor visit. Still is going smoothly!!! I have an appointment for an ultrasound on February 5, and the next doctor appointment on Feb. 9. I can't wait to see our little one on that screen! I was so excited hearing a heartbeat at the first appointment, right around 150.
We've already got some adorable things for our little angel to play with, with Mommy. My mom got a very sweet and soft teddy bear for you for Christmas, and there are a couple of adorable white tigers that are super cuddly for you to play with too. We have pacifiers, blankets, and a bunch of cool stuff from Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Deb! There's too much to mention all of it, but it will all be a great help!!!
