I just really can't remember

I always forget to post on here. I guess it doesn't really matter cause no one sees it anyway. At least as far as I know! This is more for me, I guess, so that's fine.

Last Saturday, Jeff took me to St Louis Zoo. We recently found out that they had 5 tiger cubs there so of course I wanted to see them. It was his anniversary gift to me. It was cold, not even 40 degrees. We bundled up Gracie, and she did really well, she got cold and grumpy for a while, but once she got snuggled up to me she was fine. The tigers were amazing, so cute and active, of course they're Amur tigers, also known as Siberian tigers, so they're used to the cold. We also saw puma, zebras, camels, lions, snow leopards as well as penguins, black bears, grizzlies and a polar bear. I absolutely love polar bears. They are so beautiful.

Our trip getting to the zoo was a mess cause the exit was closed and we didn't know how to get there. We drove by the science center twice trying to get turned around to go back to the zoo. It was a mess. We made it, parked on the street to save $10 and got some good exercise in with all the walking.

Changing subjects, Gracie loves her floor time, is still nursing and still is picky about what she eats and doesn't say too many words yet. She's always jabbering, and I'm not worried, but I look forward to her talking. She understands, she just doesn't quite say much yet.
