just an update

I don't do this often enough. There's been a lot going on lately though, so here I am, while I have a few minutes. Gracie's happily playing in her exersaucer. She really enjoys that!!!

I'm on my 3rd day of back trouble. It went out Monday night, and now it's Thursday. I was sorting through her clothes to put the small ones away, and it just gave out on me. I could barely walk all evening, and I couldn't even roll over in bed. One time it took me 15 minutes to get up. Tuesday morning I had to have Jeff come home from work early because I couldn't pick Gracie up more than once in a while. I had to get on the floor, get her to stand up in her crib, then lift her over the rail, walk on my knees to Sarah's bed, put Gracie down, get myself up off the floor, then get her to stand up again and then pick her up. I had to sit on the couch to change her diapers, while she was in her bassinet. I'm still doing that actually. It's been rough, but we're getting by. Jeff will come home early any day I need him to, but I hate to make him waste time off on that.

We got her SwaddleMe blanket on Monday, and the first 2 nights she slept better, but still woke up around 3. Last night she slept 10 hours!!! She only napped twice yesterday though, and she was so tired, but she never did nap for more than a few minutes in the evening. It was great that she slept so long though!!! We had a storm roll through around midnight, and she stirred a little then, but she didn't wake up. The power even went off for a split second, and then we got hit with some strong winds. Nothing was damaged that I know of though.

After Gracie's 4 month checkup we got her some cereal and she ate that a few times. Over the weekend we got her some baby food to try. She likes applesauce the best. She had a great checkup and he said she could start cereal and a little baby food whenever we wanted.

Sunday I went shopping with Marge and Gracie for clothes for Gracie for the cold weather. Jeff had to spray the house for spiders (not that we have tons, but we've seen a couple big ones). We had to go to Quincy cause Penney's doesn't have baby clothes in her size. We got a lot of things at Kohl's and ShopKo. She got a bunch of new outfits and some sleep and plays. I have pictures of Gracie wearing some of the new clothes, but not all of them yet. Here's what I have.
