10 months old

I can't believe how fast the time flies! Gracie is growing up so fast. It's so hard to choose just a few pictures to send each month, I take sooooo many!!!

We have a few new things this time. The main thing, other than what Gracie is doing now is that we found new homes for our dogs. We hated to do it, and we miss them every day. We just felt that it was best for them. We didn't have much time to spend with them, it's very hard to get outside to pet them with a baby in the house. We tried bringing Sheba in the house to help her be happier, but my allergies to her are bad enough that it didn't work too well. Sheba was great with Gracie though. We found families that could spend more time with the dogs, and we hope they're very happy. It's been hard having them gone though.

Now, for the happy Gracie stuff! She's got another tooth through on the top, and one more nearly through. It's been making it hard for her to sleep some nights, but she's doing well with it overall, I think. She's crawling all over now when I let her. Unfortunately I can't let her crawl around much cause of the cords in the house for everything, but I let her play in the areas that are pretty safe and just watch her closely. She loves her play pen though and she can play in there and stuff for quite a while. She pulls herself up on everything and is now standing without hanging on to things pretty often. She hasn't quite figured out how to take a step, but I'm sure that will happen sooner rather than later.

Gracie already likes Dora and Blue's Clues! It's cute to watch her get excited when they come on. We have a couple of DVDs for her to watch and she really enjoys those. She will play and watch them when I need some time to get something done. She also still loves to jump in her Johnny Jump Up.

I can't wait for warmer weather so I can take her to the park. She loves to be outside!
