9 months

Time for new pictures of Gracie, she turned 9 months old today! She's so much fun, and she loves to pose for the camera. Sometimes it is hard to catch her doing cute things though, cause she sees the camera and stops and smiles. I'll take it though, cause she lets me take as many pictures as I want to. I put her in a spring dress for pictures today, even though it's cold outside, because I can't wait for spring so I can take her outside more again!!! She's clapping pretty often now, and I sorta caught her clapping in one of the pictures. She has 2 teeth on the bottom, and I'm not sure where the next one will pop out. She's also getting so close to crawling, but not really doing it totally yet. She gets around though, she pulls herself across the floor, or gets up on her hands and knees and pushes forward and then flops onto her tummy. She'll be all over very soon. We've started baby-proofing, but there are some areas that she'll just have to stay out of, since it's an older house and there's no way to hide all the electrical cords! Fortunately she loves her play pen and she can move around quite a bit in there. She is saying more sounds now, and some of them are hard to tell what she means, but she yells for "dada" all day! She isn't saying "mama" as much though, but that's ok, I can tell when she wants me! She's getting better at using a sippy cup so I'm feeling good about that too. Lately her bedtime schedule has changed. She wants to stay up with us as late as she can. I am still nursing her, so I do that, but she is still awake, so I put her in her sleep sack and then give her to Jeff. He lets her sit with him on the couch until she goes to sleep, then I put her down for bed. She's up late, but she sleeps late too. I sleep pretty late too, when she lets me. She had a few nights this week when she was up several times, but mostly she sleeps really well at night now. We all have had colds and things like that here, so that probably kept her up some! I know it kept me up! Guess that's pretty much all that's going on here! Hope you all are doing well!
